CDS Group sites are among the top three finalists of the TOP Housing Development 2021 UDC
The results of TOP Housing Development 2021, the all‐Russian new urban housing development competition, were announced. 1,346 projects presented by 675 developers from 75 Russian regions entered the competition in six federal and 155 regional categories. The winners were announced during Russian Construction Week.
In St. Petersburg, 28 developers with 42 housing developments took part in the competition. The sites competed in two categories, Best New Housing Development in St. Petersburg and Best New Housing Development in St. Petersburg, Affordable Housing. Three finalists included the Chornaya Rechka business class residential quarter and Prinevsky housing development of CSD Group.
In the Leningrad region, 21 sites of 18 developers entered the competition. The Severny housing development became one of the top three finalists in the Best New Housing Development in the Leningrad region category.
The Volkovsky low‐rise housing development located on the banks of the Volkovka River in the Frunzensky district of the city was one of three leaders in the federal nomination the Best New Housing Development in the Northwestern Federal District, Mid‐Rise Housing.
All projects were assessed against the criteria of a habitable and modern living environment. Experts considered the availability of social infrastructure in the housing development, the level of security in the area of the housing development, the quality of the outdoor space, architecture and entrance units, common facilities and utilities, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, etc. CDS Group projects received high scores under all 17 criteria.
The TOP Housing Development award is the largest Russian competition focusing on new housing developments. The award was established by the National Association of Developers and the relevant committees of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Over 400 housing construction experts from the majority of the country’s regions are involved in identifying the best new housing developments in Russia.
